Our Locations

We’re here to support you across the Cape York Peninsula, with our head office located in Weipa and our team reaching even the most remote locations to ensure everyone has access to the support they need.

We provide services across a wide range of communities, including Weipa and surrounding areas such as Rocky Point, Mission River, Trunding, Nanum, and the Golf Links, as well as Mapoon (including Old Mapoon), Napranum, Aurukun, Lockhart River, Kowanyama, and Coen.

We’re especially dedicated to supporting First Nations Peoples in these remote areas, delivering culturally appropriate services and making the NDIS more accessible. Our goal is to make sure that everyone, regardless of location, feels included, supported, and empowered.

Providing NDIS Support Coordination within Cape York!

There are moments in Support Coordination that remind us why we do what we do.

Here at Dignity First, we're committed to going the extra mile for the people we support.

This week, we were thrilled to help get Edgar's mobility scooter back up and running. It might seem like a simple repair, but in Cape York, it's rarely that straightforward.

Finding the right parts, coordinating repairs, managing transport, and working through the unique challenges of remote communities all take time, persistence, and teamwork. But when it means someone can regain their independence and get back to living their life, every effort is worth it.

At Dignity First, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and choice—regardless of where they live. We don't see obstacles; we see opportunities to make a difference.

Seeing Edgar mobile again was a wonderful reminder that support is about people, building relationships, and finding solutions that help our participants live their best lives.

💙 We're proud to support people across Cape York and will continue to go above and beyond because that's what dignity looks like in action.
